In memorium Puffy and Midnight




Puffy was born in 1987 and Midnight in 1988. They were 6 months apart in age. Thease cats were my sons and best friends. Puffy passed away in Feb. 2005 and Midnight in May of that year. Puffy died from cancer and Ninight as we called him died from a broken heart. Puffy was part Maine coon best we could tell and Ninight was Burmese. Midnight had the scream of a siamese on him. He was nuts!LOL! He would put his claw in an open scoket of a surge supresser and get flung across the room and do it again. He liked to bite Christmas light bulbs. He also liked to watch Animal Cops on Animal Planet and demanded loudly I carry him to the living room and put him on my lap to watch every night.
Puffy Loved his deli sliced turkey. He laid right under the oven every Christmas and Thanksgiving as soon as he could smell the turkey. He loved to watch The People's Court with Judge Marilyn Millian. He loved her so much he'd cry when a commercial came on. He got real mad when they changed the time she was on. Puffy was HUGE. He weighed in at a WHOPPING 26lbs. and was 24 inches around. He was 3 feet long from tip of nose to tip of tail. He was the most beautiful cat you've ever seen. Midnight as you might have guessed by his name was black but in the sun he was brown because he was burmese. He weighed 17lbs. all muscle. Puffy on the other hand was all fur.

    I was brought to your blog by a link at websleuths (I have posted there once or twice, but I'm more of a lurker). Anyhow, I just wanted to tell you that your cats looked like they were some of the most loved fur-babies on the planet. I have three fur-babies and no kids also, and I know that they juat take your heart : ). I just wanted to drop you s wee note to thank you for this blog, and to give you all my blessings from Scotland on your coming treatments. Someone across the water is thinking of you.

Late 1970's so called "Babysitter Killer" murders solved?

1970's mugshot of Busch Jill Robinson Mark Stebbins Kristine Mihelich Timothy King The murders of 4 children in Oakland County,MI who were carefully cleaned and had their clothes washed dried and ironed got their killer dubbed "The Babysitter Killer". Now thanks to the father of one of the victims we now know who more than likely killed them and maybe more. The first victim was Mark Stebbins,12 from Ferndale,MI Feb. 13,1976.His body was found in a parking lot 6 days later. The next victim was Jill Robinson,12 taken from Royal Oak on Dec 12,1976.
